The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) founded in 1975 is a highly recognized university in the Philippines. It has 3 major campuses in Las Pinas, Molino, and Calamba. Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Philippines granted deregulated status (equivalent to Autonomous Status) to University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, Manila, Philippines. The course is called the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program in Philippines which is equivalent to the MBBS course in India. Review classes for the Medical Board Exams are given to graduates at DALTA (UPHSD). AMA School of Medicine

AMA School of Medicine (AMASOM) is the medical school of AMA Education System (AMAES). It is housed in AMA College Makati, which is located at the heart of Makati City, the Philippines’ financial and business capital.
The MD degree at AMASOM is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) as equivalent to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree similarly offered in the UK, Australia, India and other Commonwealth countries. After their MD graduation from AMASOM, Indian students will be given a license to practice in India similar to the MBBS doctors from India after completion of licensing formalities with the MCI.

De La Salle Health Sciences Institute

                                                             The De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute traces its roots to a group of doctors from the College of Medicine of the University of the Philippines and the Philippine General Hospital who, in 1976, decided to establish a medical school to support the need for a well-trained staff for the newly inaugurated Medical Center Manila. Following the national government’s policy of dispersing educational facilities outside the capital city and encouraging the establishment of medical schools in various regions of the country, they decided to establish a medical school in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Originally named Emilio Aguinaldo College of Medicine, the school opened in 1979 under the management of the University Physician’s Foundation, Inc. with the Jose P. Rizal National Medical Research Center as its initial teaching hospital.
In 1980, the foundation acquired 1.2 hectares of additional property and construction was started for a 180-bed teaching hospital. This 4-storey hospital, the University Medical Center, was inaugurated on July 31, 1982. In 1985, the construction of the second 4-storey Medical Research Building for the College of Medicine started.

University of Northern Philippines

The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) holds the distinction of being the first state university in Northern Luzon. It was created through the enactment of Republic Act 4449 authored by the late Congressman FLORO S. CRISOLOGO and approved on June 19, 1965. The said Act converted the Ilocos Sur School of Arts and Trades in the Municipality of Vigan, Province of Ilocos Sur, into a University.The governance of the University is vested in the Board of Regents. The first board was constituted on October 14, 1965.The origin of this University can be traced through the following dates:1906 – Establishment of Vigan High School (now the Ilocos Sur National High School).
